” Taco Seasoning:
1/2 cup chili powder
1/4 cup onion powder
1/8 cup ground cumin
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon sea salt
Put ingredients into a jar and shake.

Dry Onion Soup Mix:
2/3 cup dried, minced onion
3 teaspoons parsley flakes
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

Mix all ingredients in a jar, then give the jar a good shake. I’d recommend shaking the jar to mix the ingredients well before each use.
Use 4 tablespoons in a recipe in place of 1 packet of onion soup mix. Store this in a dry, cool place.

Ranch:
5 tablespoons dried minced onions
7 teaspoons parsley flakes
4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Mix together and store in an air tight container.
For dressing: Mix 2 tablespoons dry mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk or sour cream.
For dip: Mix 2 tablespoons dry mix with 2 cups sour cream.
Mix up a few hours before serving, so the flavors all blend.”

SHAME ON YOU Rep. Jackie Walorski & Rep. Renee Ellmers: The House GOP Women Who Abandoned Pro-Life Community on Late-Term Abortion!

The House GOP Women Who Abandoned ProLife Community on Late Term Abortion

In November, the voters handed Republicans an overwhelming majority in the House of
Representatives the largest, in fact, since 1929.

the power and support of the American people to stand for
what they were elected to do—and they cannot uphold even
“But someone must have forgotten to tell the Republicans.
On Monday, Republican leadership announced that the House would vote on a pro-life bill banning
abortion after 20 weeks—the point in the pregnancy when the baby can feel pain. The vote was set
for Thursday, January 22, the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision to legalize abortion and
the same day that hundreds of thousands of prolife activists descend on the Mall for the annual
March for Life.
As news of the bill spread, so did its opposition. However, this time the opposition wasn’t led by
liberal Democrats—but by Republican members. The women leading the effort to kill this bill? Rep.
Jackie Walorski (RIN) and Rep. Renee Ellmers (RNC)—the same Renee Ellmers who was the
only Republican to vote against deporting illegal immigrant sex offenders last week.
The result of this GOP led pro-choice temper tantrum was the same as usual: leadership caved. In a
stunning display of cowardice and capitulation, they pulled the bill from the floor in the eleventh
hour.
Forget the days of Nancy Pelosi. The new GOP majority has the power and support of the American
people to stand for what they were elected to do—and they cannot uphold even the most
fundamental Republican principle: protect life. Protect those who cannot protect themselves.
This spectacular capitulation makes GOP leadership complicit in this latest act of Republican
heresy. John Boehner, who likes to call himself “the most pro-life Speaker in history,” sat on the
sidelines and did nothing. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (RWA), the only woman in leadership and
chair of the messaging arm of the conference, was painfully silent. And yet, she is scheduled to
speak at the March for Life rally on Thursday. Republican Whip Steve Scalise (RLA) said he
declined to whip members in favor of this vote because it was, he claimed, a “vote of conscience.”
And the GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (RCA) bailed last minute on his speech at a pro-life event
Wednesday night. We have to ask: How is this vote of conscience different from any other policy
vote congressional members vote on?
In a typical political pivot, Walorski, followed by Ellmers, reversed gears Wednesday night
withdrawing their opposition to the 20week ban in Facebook posts, after drawing criticism from prolife
leaders and groups.

”Cowardice and capitulation on the part of Republican leadership is nothing new. But this
abandonment of Republican’s core values is a slap in the face to the millions of Americans who
pulled the lever for Republicans this past fall.
Voters gave Republicans a commanding majority because they want a change from Obama’s
blatantly liberal policies over the past six years. But if Republicans, with a commanding governing
majority, cannot put a bill on the floor that bans late term abortions, then what is the point of the
majority?
